A Family Tradition for 40 Years

Family owned and operated since 1973, Shalhoob Meat Company provides premium custom cut meats and poultry to homes and restaurants throughout the city of Santa Barbara, right from our “Funk Zone” location. A staple in the community for over 40 years, we also offer gourmet beef jerky derived from our three-generation old family recipe and unique seasonings for meats and vegetables.

As we experienced The Funk Zone change from the industrial area in which we grew our business, into the the Art lined Urban Wine Trail it is today, we decided to evolve along with our surroundings. Converting our huge cutting room into a state of the art kitchen, reconstructing our concrete lot into a serene outdoor event space complete with custom built tables & giant rustic planters, our most recent addition is an open air patio restaurant known as The Funk Zone Patio.

Our pledge is to provide the finest quality products and deliver the very best service to our customers, Santa Barbara Style.

All of the meats served are hormone and antibiotic free and grain-fed with no by products. From the fruits and vegetables being locally sourced, to the seafood being caught by Santa Barbara fisherman and delivered directly to us - no middlemen!
