Thanksgiving Turkey

Remove the neck and giblets from the neck and body cavities.
Rinse the turkey inside and out with cold water.
If stuffing is desired, LOOSELY stuff the body and neck cavities with stuffing, reset legs in clamp.
Place the turkey in a roasting pan breast up.
Cover with a lid, or fashion your own cover with a loose foil “tent”.
(Tip: remove the cover for the last hour for final browning.)
Roast in a pre-heated 325° F oven.
Roasting will take about 15 minutes per pound if the turkey is not stuffed.
Stuffed turkeys require an additional 1/2 to 1 hour cooking time.
