Pan Seared – Oven Finished Steak

For this application we suggest that the steaks be cut a minimum of 1-3/4” to 2” thick
You can also use this method for thick cut pork and lamb
Let meat sit out for 30 to 40 minutes before cooking
Season meat well using Shalhoob Original Seasoning
Using a cast iron skillet get skillet as hot as you can
Sear meat in pan on both sides using butter or olive oil
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Place steak on baking rack so heat can get underneath meat
Place in oven for about 10 to 14 minutes and bring to desired temperature.
